Blog — Canal & River Trust

21.09.21

The Canal & River Trust doesn’t just look after the rich history of our waterways, it ensures that these canals and rivers are used and enjoyed by thousands of people every day. However, people often perceived the Canal & River trust as the people who ‘fix the bridges’. The brief to rebrand the trust was bold and ambitious — driven by the charity’s focus on bringing waterways alive and encouraging communities to come together to love and care for their local canal or river.

Walking around the towpaths of London’s canals today, one can see the brand in its natural habitat, everywhere from large signage, to licences in boat windows, to volunteer uniforms and vans. This physical presence is reflected in the trust’s digital and social assets — signposting events and community projects and inviting everyone to join them in making life better by water.

Locations: Little Venice, Paddington Basin, Camden Locks & Coals Drop Yard.
