The project follows Studio Blackburn’s 2024 brand refresh and marks the next chapter in the brand’s evolving identity.

The website is built around a simple idea. Something’s not quite right. It pushes back against the standard e-commerce experience. In a landscape of predictable and identical websites, it offers something more considered. It works clearly and logically, but refuses to feel neutral or expected.

Just as the 2024 identity explored Ventura Foreman’s working process, the website extends this thinking into the digital space. It creates an environment that feels structured and familiar, yet slightly off.

Designed as an ode to Ventura Foreman’s physical processes, old instruction manuals, and the logic of the Yellow Pages, the website is built as a tool rather than a showcase.

At its core, the site is clear and easy to use. Navigation is direct. Information is organised and accessible.

At the same time, small details shift the experience. Interactions feel slightly unusual. Certain moments slow you down or make you look again. These elements introduce curiosity without getting in the way of use.

The result is a system that feels familiar, but not quite right.
