BRIEF
Rail Partners exists to make the railway better by harnessing the expertise of private sector operators. We were tasked with creating a name and a visual identity for this new trade body that would attract members, guide decision makers, and appeal to the industry’s top talent. The challenge was to create something that felt authoritative and serious while remaining visually progressive.

WORK
We began by establishing a name that reflects the collaborative spirit of the sector. To ensure a benchmark of clarity, we developed a unique 4.5/5.5 grid system based directly on the proportions of the wordmark. This mathematical framework allows the brand to be applied with total consistency across all channels, providing a sophisticated structure for a complex industry.

PLAY
We moved beyond the traditional corporate aesthetic by introducing a distinct purple and green colour palette. This choice gives Rail Partners a memorable look and feel that stands out in a crowded political and industrial landscape. It is essentially rail with graphic design at its core: a serious system that celebrates the beauty of the grid and the power of a well-crafted identity.
