2019 – Present
Ryan has a deep understanding of brands and their audiences. Over the last 20 years he has developed brand strategies and identities for companies as diverse as Nike, Canadian Transit Rail, Ionic Shipping, Gordon Ramsay, Porsche Design Sport, So Energy, Hakluyt and Theatreplan.
Ryan has won many industry awards for his work with the photographer Rankin, GF Smith paper and the dutch designer Wim Crouwel as well as a yellow D&AD pencil for a student project. He has lectured at Ravensbourne College, judged the D&AD awards and has featured in the design press appearing in Grafik magazine, Creative Review, Design Week and IDEA. He has previously contributed to Monocle 24 radio where he discussed topics on design and brands.
